Oh forgot one thing, I don't like the fact you get everyones weapon you defeat. If a grab mechanic is going in, brilliant, if you grab it it's yours, otherwise it doesn't make much sense to get their weapon.
Hey, first time play through, absolutely loved it! You guys have done an awesome job! Few improvements I would like to add too, but I understand if some of these are already in the works due to the alpha state
Pros - Splitscreen! So happy this feature is present, playing Road Rash with friends is just so fun and enjoyable! - Excellent visuals and content. - Definitely enjoyable singleplayer, and replayable. - Even at V0.002 the progress and work so far is awesome, I cannot wait to see the next build!
Suggestions - I also agree with what others have said about jamming a weapon in a wheel back from Road Rash 64, this was quite a fun thing to do, could also help with removing a weapon from your inventory. - Also agree with the crashing into cars, didn't see an impact, even when hitting the car from behind the bike simply stops when it should crash. Also kicking other players into the cars sometimes does not have the same effect. - Tasers / Cattle prods / Spray cans would be fun to see causing the player to temporarily lose control - Wheelies, jumping off the back/front of cars - With pipebombs we had a mirror available, it would be cool to have this also with the C4. - Unarmed attacks / disarming / removing weapons you don't want, already mentioned by others on this topic - Framerate drops when hitting or crashing, particle issues perhaps but this is most likely already known. - Set up a race, choose traffic type, ai difficulty etc, but this is most likely already known. - Choose to play as a possible cop for fun? Just as like a skin choice for multiplayer.
Good luck with the development, so excited for the next build, having a blast with the current alpha

The game seem s a bit too easy racing wise. It should be a challenge to win the race normally, not needing cars to hate you etc.You should have longer fights, and instead of killing riders you allow them to get back on their bike. It seems when you pass a rider, theyre gone for good, and i think it could be improved by rider slightly behind or ahead catch up/slow down for more epic battles.
This game definitely needs some 90's grunge music by the likes of Road Rash 32-bit for the 3DO/PS1/PC. That and longer tracks, since the races seem to be over way too quickly in my opinion. Also, I am not sure if this is planned, but a way to aquire new, faster bikes in singleplayer (similar to the way Road Rash 32-bit did it) would be quite the thing.
Well, besides that, you guys need to work a bit on the collisions a bit. I have hit several cars head on just to bump back a few meters instead of flying off my bike. The camera also needs a bit more work. I have been looking below the track several times now, but hey, it's an alpha, so I won't judge it too harshly. And while you're at it, please add a volume slider of some kind. The volume is constantly way too loud no matter how much I lower it via the system settings, which is kinda strange.
These are pretty much the only complaints/suggestions/ideas I have at the moment, though.
I had a blast playing the build so far and I can't wait to see what the next build has to offer! Keep up the good work!

INCREDIBLE GAME! I used to play the heck out of ROADRASH back when I was a kid. This has all the potential in the world to go the distance....and then some. Not to mention The graphics are 1000 times better! GREAT JOB! Question when will multiplayer be available from PC to PC .."LAN"... or with friends in other states via a game browser. OHH ALSO!! When me or my son plays on our seperate computers we both have expereinced it minimizes the game once in a while mid game play. Any ideas on how to stop that from happening? You lose alot of gained speed and your place or crash when it happens. Thanks Jason

So I've had this game for about 30 minutes (only stopped to post this) and I'm absolutley loving it. This is my take:
Love: Weapons (Pipe Bombs / TNT are EPIC!) Simplicity of Controls (using the 360 Wired Pad feels perfect) Cops (for some reason they seemed real unhappy to see me...) Crazy Cars (Chaos... just chaos... a game has made me laugh this had in ages!)
Needs Adjusting (In my view anyway) Kick - Unless I'm secretly Iron Man, the distance the bike fly across is way too high when they are kicked. Nitro - It might be due to the fact I've only played it a little but no one (as in Computer AI) seems to use Nitro at any point, but that may just be as I said as I've only hit early levels.
Dislike (nothing wrong with it as such, just not my tastes)
Music - More variety, it feels way to melow for the game to me.
I am truly loving it though, and look forward to playing it as it changes and grows. Right then... back to causing carnage!

Had to register to tell you how awesome this is. Brilliant. I've been playing a lot of Road Rash on the SEGA Saturn lately, so believe me when I say this compares really, really favourably to that classic.
Pros: Controls are perfect. I love everything about them. Cars falling from the sky - and all the mayhem in general. YES. So, So much fun. All the weapons feel great. The shovel is a mite too slow though - I could never really get a feel for it.
Cons: Music is a tad schitzophrenic - good stuff, but lacks cohesion. Like others have mentioned, I feel a more 90's rock and grunge approach would go better with this. Stuff that sounds like Soundgarden, or even Fuel or Gin Blossoms would take the aural experience to the next level. Rear-vision mirror should be on all the time. Also, the camera controls on the Right analog stick are decent, but obviously not final. I think a clicking in the Right Stick button should re-center the camera behind your rider.
Bloody phenomenal. I just want more of everything. It really feels like the next evolution of Road Rash. Cannot WAIT for the next build!
Just tried it tonight for the first time. I must say, it was funny and fun. BUT, I could see this getting old pretty fast also. Hopefully, the introduction of all the new things will make it not so monotonous (weapons, new bikes, gangs, all of it). But, so far, looking pretty darn good, and having fun.
Some feedback: There should be the ability to use the arrow keys, and remap to all the surrounding keys. ALL of them, seperately, like Insert and numpad 0, be able to bind them to different actions. That goes for all the duplicate keys, like Delete, end, enter, page up/down, home, bindable seperately from their numpad counterparts.
Other than that, I am looking forward to seeing the game as a whole. I cant believe how many times I really laughed out loud.
I love it, I seriously do. My favorite Road Rash was for the 3DO, and this not only is a great throwback to it, but so far it has taken it to great new heights.
- My only grievance besides the lack of controller support, which I'm sure you are working on, is that I am having a lot of pop-in graphical glitches running it on my invidia 750M gpu on my Alienware 14 (yeah, not my first choice in gaming laptop, but I travel a lot, so I needed one, and got it at a great price through some connections). I know it is not the greatest card, but I can still run the latest need for speed at max settings beautifully with it. I'm sure this is just due to the game still being in alpha, but I just wanted to make sure to bring it to your attention. Fun as HELL though, Bravo! I can't wait to see what's coming next!
